Progetto Puro is an independent design studio founded in Verona in 2025 by Nicolò Rovera.
Our aim is to make good design more accessible: simple, functional objects, developed from the outset with thoughtful production in mind.
Each lamp brings together form, light, manufacturing and everyday life.
From Verona, with a clear ambition
I’m Nicolò Rovera. I was born in Verona in 1995 and studied Product Design in Bologna.
Working in lighting and product development taught me the practical side of design: materials, manufacturing, assembly, costs and timing.
Progetto Puro grew from that experience and a desire to bring good design closer to people. This is the beginning of that journey.
Listen first. Then design.
Before we draw, we learn from the people who make things. We talk to manufacturers, craftspeople and technicians to understand their tools, constraints and possibilities.
Materials, processes and assembly are part of the design from the start. This helps us avoid unnecessary complexity and balance quality, resources and accessibility.
A design is pure when form, function and production develop together.
Built on shared expertise
Good design depends on the people who bring it to life. We work with manufacturers and craftspeople in Italy and abroad.
Metal, glass, marble and wood; turning, milling, laser cutting and folding. Any material or process can spark a new idea.
Understanding how things are made helps us turn those ideas into purposeful, efficient objects that can actually be produced.

Technology that serves the design
A lamp may begin with a pencil sketch. To become a product, it needs to be measured, tested and understood by everyone involved.
Parametric 3D modelling, technical drawings, renders and simulations help us develop precise designs. 3D scanning and mixed reality add to our research tools.
Above all, technology helps us communicate clearly with clients, manufacturers, craftspeople and collaborators.
